The year's at the spring　

時は春、

And day's at the morn;　　　

日は朝（あした）、

Morning's at seven;　　　　

朝（あした）は七時、

The hill‐side's dew‐pearled;

片岡（かたをか）に露みちて、

The lark's on the wing;　　　

揚雲雀（あげひばり）なのりいで、

The snail's on the thorn;

蝸牛（かたつむり）枝に這（は）ひ、

God's in his heaven ―　

神、そらに知ろしめす、

All's right with the world!　

すべて世は事も無し。
